These score sheets, plus any critiques, comments, etc., from the judges, are the judges’ own opinions and are intended to help aspiring authors improve their skills by pinpointing problem areas, or highlighting strengths. Authors should never allow the opinions of others to sway them from their true love – writing the story they want to tell! WAIVER I have read all the rules of the Launching A Star Contest, sponsored by the SpacecoasT Authors of Romance, and agree to abide by all of them. I further understand that the judges’ scores are based on their own opinions and I will accept their decisions and conclusions as they pertain to this contest. I understand and accept that story ideas and titles cannot be copyrighted. I agree that I indemnify and hold harmless SpacecoasT Authors of Romance, its officers, personnel, members and judges in any dispute arising from my participation in this contest.
